The website and exhibition project Archizines was created by Elias Redstone as a growing archive to reflect upon the resurgence of alternative and/or independent publications in architecture since 2000.

On the occasion of the anniversary of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe’s 125th birthday, the Department of Architecture Theory at RWTH Aachen University and the Verein Aachen Fenster e.V. are jointly organizing an international symposium in the city of Mies’s birth on October 25th to 27th,  2011.

The three-day program brings together leading practitioners, historians, and theoreticians to reflect on Mies’s legacy and relevance today.
